Located in New Westminster, this Family Practice is easily accessible via transit and is central to a large number of amenities. This is a family practice by appointment with same day access and a wait time of five to seven days for non-urgent scheduled appointments. This clinic has special focuses that include transgender care, sexual health, women’s health, acupuncture, and trigger point injections. In addition, they work with a community primary care nurse and social worker.
The operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At present, their staffing structure consists of four Medical Office Assistants and six Family Physicians. All the Physicians work collaboratively to manage the clinic and are Fraser Northwest Division Members. This clinic utilizes OSCAR as its EMR and has an online e-booking system for their patients. The Physician team rotates one Physician each week for their after-hours call services for patients. This team has a strong focus on mentorship, education, collaboration, and overall teamwork, making this a positive and inspiring environment. The support, communication, and openness fosters a close bond between all of the staff, inside and outside of the office.
